Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’s Vibhuti Mishra Will Remind You Of Jay From Sholay. Find Out How

Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain's Vibhuti Mishra aka Aasif Sheikh’s Sholay connection will leave you in splits!

Vibhuti from Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain

Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy’s Sholay (1975) is regarded as the cult film of Indian cinema. Each and everything about this film turned out to be classic. So, how the props could have left behind. When it comes to the props, who can forget megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s character Jai’s sacrifice to save Veeru’s (played by Dharmendra) life at the climax with the unique two-headed coin. No doubt, thanks to Sholay, this specific prop of a coin turned immortal, and found itself a die-hard fan like none other than our favourite reel character Vibhuti Narayan Mishra (Aasif Sheikh) from And TV’s popular show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain.

Many of the show’s admirers would know that there are different hilarious tracks that have kept us entertaining over the time. Amongst them, there was one funny plot where a queen honey bee is seen after the life of everyone in the locality, courtesy Vibhuti and Manmohan Tiwari (Rohitash Gaud). In order to save themselves, there’s only one hilariously weird way in front of both of them. It is that one of them has to walk in the locality going completely naked.

To decide that who among the two will perform this weird task, Vibhuti comes up with an idea of tossing a coin. It’s so obvious that he wins the toss and Tiwariji has to perform the task of going naked. But, as soon as he wins the toss, his wife Anita (Saumya Tandon) takes the coin to see it and she notices that it is a two-headed coin, just like Sholay’s Jai had one with him. Anita is left surprised, but knowing about the ‘task’, she chooses to stay mum.

Indeed, this scene left us in splits and even made us go nostalgic about the two-headed coin sequence from Sholay. And putting two and two together, we got to know that Vibhuti Narayan Mishra is a big fan of film Sholay.
