He is one actor who has the perfect timing that is so essential for a comedy scene and it could not have been done better by anyone other than Yogesh. However, not many of Happu Singh’s fans would know that actor Yogesh Tripathi has also worked with a popular Bollywood actor and director. And it’s none other than Divya Khosla Kumar. Yes! You read that right.
Divya Khosla Kumar, who is popularly known for her directorial films like Yaariyan and Sanam Re, faced the camera once again after more than a decade with short film Bulbul (2017). She played the title role in this romantic comedy-drama short where Yogesh Tripathi shared screen space with her. The actor was seen playing the role of Bulbul’s dance teacher (Guruji). His performance and funny expressions were marvellous in the film, below is one still from the short film:
The ones who have watched this short film could easily recognise the actor, as the similar hairstyle of this Guruji’s character and him constantly eating a paan, leaving it with stained red lips in the film, made all remember of none but Daroga Happu Singh only.
