The old man asks her if she knows about the great influence of this leader, who was once known as someone who had a lion’s share, in the Indian Constitution. At that moment, she notices the garland around the statue’s neck, falling off. The girl decides to walk into the rain so that she’s as drenched as the statue. The old man joins her.
He then tells her about a similar rainy day full of storms, when a great person took birth. He was none other than Dr B. R. Ambedkar. He adds that his mother was in a lot of pain, and could not take it anymore. This led to his father running around in the rain, asking for help from strangers. Unfortunately, he was denied help, as he was a Shudra.
