Jamai Raja 2.0: Exclusive Stills From Ravi Dubey And Nia Sharma’s First Day Of Shoot

Three years of wait finally comes to end for Jamai Raja fans! Jamai Raja 2.0, a web sequel to Zee TV show, recently went on floors with the original cast Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma. Although more details about the storyline and narrative are awaited, we bring exclusive stills from the first day of shoot in Mumbai for fans of #NiVi, as Ravi and Nia are lovingly called.

For the unversed, Jamai Raja 2.0 is an upcoming ZEE5 Original web series. Besides Ravi and Nia, the digital drama shall also star Achint Kaur from the original television soap.

Going by this picture, one can expect that Jamai Raja 2.0 will be set in the contemporary world. The web series will be helmed by director Shashant Singh.

Jamai Raja was produced by Ashvini Yardi and Akshay Kumar’s banner Grazing Goat and co-produced by Meenakshi Sagar. Jamai Raja 2.0, however, is being bankrolled by Ashvini’s new production venture Viniyard Films.

On a scale of 1-10, how excited are you to watch Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma back together?

Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma’s pairing in Jamai Raja as Siddharth Khurrana and Roshni Patel became an instant hit with fans during the time of launch. So much so, that even after the Zee TV show went off the air, fans call their onscreen jodi fondly as #SidNi.

These pictures are making us so DAMN excited to watch Ravi and Nia weave the same old Jamai Raja magic! No wonder Jamai Raja had enjoyed a three-year successful run with several leaps and plot twists and had three seasons.
